YOUR TRAINER CAN ALREADY DO THIS.
ALL THAT WAS MISSING WAS THE APP WITHOUT A CATCH.
The ERG power control loop already lives in your smart trainer's firmware, and FTMS is an open Bluetooth standard. What the big platforms sell on top is mostly cloud, account, subscription — and a 3D world that does nothing for training.
Wattsoever leaves all of that out: one program on your machine talks directly to your trainer and heart-rate strap. On a mountain route the trainer gets the real gradient from your GPX file, and your speed comes from a physics model fed by your watts, not from a game.
THREE STEPS. ONE RIDE.
THE REST IS PHYSICS.
CONNECT
A Bluetooth scan finds your FTMS trainer and HR strap. Once connected, the app attempts to reconnect them automatically after a dropout.
WORKOUT OR ROUTE
Choose from 28 built-in workouts, create your own or adapt a copy. Import a GPX route; elevation data is normally fetched online and the finished route is saved locally.
RIDE
ERG holds your target watts, SIM sets the real gradient. Every second is recorded — as a FIT file on your own disk.
FIND YOUR SESSION.
SEE THE ROAD AHEAD.
Search the 28 built-in workouts or filter by duration, intensity and TSS. Build a session from steps and repeats, duplicate one to adapt it, and add optional cadence targets or timed coach notes.

WATTS BY PLAN.
OR REAL MOUNTAINS.
ONE COCKPIT.
A VIEW FOR EVERY KIND OF RIDE.
The same instruments in every view — power in zone color, HR, cadence, speed, calories — only their place changes. Switch between Standard, Focus, Chart and Map while riding; a workout simply adds its intervals on top of any of them.
EVERY RIDE. ON YOUR DISK.
ONE CLICK TO THE REPORT.
Each session lands as 1-Hz samples in a local SQLite database plus a FIT file. Click any entry in your log and the full analysis opens — no upload, no sync.
- Your training log — every ride in one table, zone mix at a glance.
- NP, IF and TSS — the training-load math, computed locally the moment the ride ends.
- Yours to keep — rename it and download the FIT file. Strava upload is planned.
EVERYTHING TRAINING NEEDS.
NOTHING THE CLOUD NEEDS.
IN
- Profiles instead of accounts — click, ride. FTP, weight and LTHR kept as a clean history, Coggan 7 zones computed automatically.
- Recording like the big ones — every second to SQLite and FIT, with NP, IF and TSS.
- Strava & Komoot PLANNED — upload finished rides to Strava and ride your Komoot routes indoors, via assisted sign-in on the real sites — no API keys.
- Any screen on your Wi-Fi PLANNED — phone and tablet will show the same live cockpit.
- GPS tracks for workouts — ERG rides run on real roads. Your FIT file never sits in the ocean.
LEFT OUT, ON PURPOSE
- Fictional worlds — real routes and a clear cockpit are enough.
- Multiplayer racing — planned instead: ghost riders against your own past rides.
- AI plans & readiness scores — analysis platforms do that better. Wattsoever rides.
- A business model — nothing for sale, no ads, no data. A free hobby project.

THE TRAINER DOES THE CONTROL LOOP.
WATTSOEVER SENDS TARGETS.
Power regulation runs in your trainer's firmware — Wattsoever sends target watts or the gradient. One local program talks to trainer and HR strap, plays your workout, runs the physics and records the ride, with no cloud in between.
